Soundtuning for the MT01 - RP12 / RP18 with Akrapovic Exhaust
With these DB-Killer the sound is improved significantly - nice fuller deep sound, a bit louder. Better performance is possible after proper coordination wit a Power Commander!
The original Akrapovic RP12 dB-killer have only 91dB (at rated speed 3563 rpm / steady 72dB), although 94dB are approved!
The max. noise level range of this larger dB-Killer is 94dB so it is still within the permissible tolerance (without guarantee) - stationary noise approx. 78dB (without guarantee).
! Not suitable for the Yamaha MT-01 series silencer !
Difference to the Akrapovic standard dB-Killer:
- Material: Aluminum - lighter than the standard dB Killer
- Made of one pices not welded – therefore very stable
- Die Aufspreizung hinten ist größer
- Inner diameter 38mm - (dB-Killer orignal: 33,2mm)
- Lenght 120mm - (dB-Killer orig.: 140mm)
- Noise level range 94dB / 78dB - (dB-Killer orig.: 91dB / 72dB)
